Just when I start to get a bit of a reprieve from cancer, no appointments, no pills, no injections, life, for the time being pretends to be normal, something jars you back into reality. Bry finished his injections of Filgrastim yesterday. This is the drug that is supposed to make white blood cells via your bone marrow. Anyhow, tonight at work, yes he has been going to work this week, he phoned complaining of a major bone ache. This is one of the side effects of this drug.....he said that he might be home early. No one can fault him for comeing home early. I feel so helpless, there is nothing that I can do to help him.

Wendy, you and Bryan hang in there, I sympathize with Bryan, Rick had to have those darn shots and he hurt like the dickens. I am so glad to hear that it had not spread. Not much comfort to either of you as you go through what must seem like hell on wheels going down hill. the good news is that even though you both will feel like stink now and it seems like you will never get through it, Rick, my son just past his 11th year free and I will pray that such will be the case for you. It took a year of treatments but he made it. My prayer for you. Precious Lord, please be with my friends Wendy and Bryan as they battle this disease together. Lord give the doctor's wisdom, and Wendy and Bryan the ability to live in the moment, taking solice from the odd smile even if it is through pain. Let them be surrounded by your love and the oveof those of us who feel helpless to do anythig but be there. Lord please give complete healing to Bryan an sustain Wendy with strength and wisdom. Lord just love these two special peopl. All this I ask in the name of your precious son, Our Lor Jesus Christ.
Wendy hugs to you both. Don't forget before the weather gets too bad, we need a coffee by the river.\Sue
